(WTNH) -- Folks have mixed feelings about the storm response. Some are sick of waiting for the plows. Here's tonights Voice of the People.
Kevin from Bridgeport said, "Why weren't the roads plowed? Why weren't they prepared? Why don't they have other trucks coming in from other states when they knew this was going to be a major, major snowstorm?"
Pat from Danbury said, "I just want to thank all the crews out there who cleaned the roads I lived through the storm of 1978 I worked through it. And we got through 2013. People stop complaining this was 2-4 feet of snow that fell. This takes time."
John from New London said, "These roads in New London are horrible. I think it's rotting our rims, our tires, our vehicles are ruined because of it. I think the city should pay for our new tires. I think the city should pay for our new rims. And I think they shouldn't pay for these people who have been out there for 6-7 hours at night
working overtime to get money."
Mike said, "I just wanted to give you guys a thumbs up for the forecast this weekend with the storm. A lot of people complain about the weathermen but you guys nailed it. You nailed Sandy, you nailed this storm. Thanks for all your help getting us prepared."
