(WTNH) -- From outrage about Gateway Community College's threat to anger over gas prices, you're weighing in. Here's tonight's Voice of The People.
Anonymous said, "I'm calling in response to a story that I just heard reported on news channel 8. As a member of the Gateway Community College community I am outraged that the school did not notify students, faculty and staff, of the threat. Whether it was an imminent threat or not. I'm outraged that no one got the word out to the students. That's for that people can make their own decisions about putting themselves in a place for such a violent threat was made."
Mark from Trumbull said, "I'm a postal carrier, letter carrier from Trumbull, Connecticut. My name is Mark. I'm just curious. I hear more people complaining about the 1 cent increase and postage then I do about the 30 cent increase in gas, over this last month. I travel a lot, was up in Springfield last week where its 28 cents cheaper than Connecticut. I'm wondering what our legislators are doing to curb this tax increase or to cut the tax on the gas."
Joe from Stratford said, "I'm calling in regard to the Stratford school petition for resource officers. I think this is a no brainer. I think the world has changed since Sandy Hook and it's time to reevaluate security in all elementary schools. Quite frankly, but I think it's pathetic that there's an opposition to this idea."
