(WTNH) -- Tonight you are weighing in on a bunch of stories we've covered this week, including a Colorado school district's decision to ban a transgender 6-year-old from using certain bathrooms. And you are also sounding off about automatic spending cuts set to kick in tomorrow. Here's tonight's "Voice of the People."
Sharon from Watertown said, "This sequester that our government has decided is a game is definitely going to affect everyone. It's going to affect every part of our lives and they think it's a big game."
Ellen from New Haven said, "I'm calling in regards to the teacher from Clemente school. I had an incident back in 2011 where he was verbally abusive to my son and also hit him with a chair. I don't know how they can let this man teach again, they should have just fired him."
Paula from Wolcott said, "I'm calling about that man that stormed the office about the anti-gay t-shirt. I think it's absolutely ridiculous. Regardless whether people agree or not, it's that child's freedom of speech. So, I agree with the child. Whether people agree with it or not, it's just the way that it is."
Diane from New Haven said, "Just saw your segment on the 6-year-old child that's being allowed to live a transgender lifestyle. I think people have sunken to an all time low. That is a 6-year-old child. What is wrong with these parents? Have they gone nuts? Has the whole world gone nuts?"
Evelyn from Ansonia said, "If he was born a little boy, he should be treated as one. I don't think that's very healthy for him."
Jenny from East Haven said, "I think Anne Craig is very brave for telling her story about her struggle with infertility. I have also struggled with infertility for many years. Until I finally had my miracle baby. I just want to tell her...miracles do happen. And thank you so much for being a voice for us struggling with this issue."
