(WTNH) -- A French film director wants to come to Connecticut to create a movie about the tragedy at Sandy Hook, and many of you aren't too happy about it. Some of you are also against a proposal to boost the speed limit to 75 miles per hour. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Dick from Oxford said, "People tailgate at alarming rates, they eat, they chat, they drink, they text constantly. Our roads aren't in good enough shape to be driving at those speeds. So, the whole idea of 75 in Connecticut is insane."

Mary from New Haven said, "People can't even drive at 65. Why would they increase it to 75?"

Edward from New Haven said, "Upping the speed limit to 75 only encourages people to do 85-90."

Debbie from Milford said, "They should absolutely not make a movie about Sandy Hook in Ridgefield. They need to leave those families in peace and let the children be in peace. It's a wrong thing to do, it's a sin."

Evelyn from West Haven said, "I don't see why anybody should be allowed to profit from the tragedy and there's no point to it, to open up those wounds for those poor people."

Anthony from New Haven said, "I'm a director myself and if I had the opportunity to do it, I wouldn't even try it, it's way too early."
