(WTNH) - Many of you are sounding off road safety and a plan to put up speed cams in New Haven.
Some even sounded off on Governor Malloy's take on education.
"Governor Malloy's proposal to throw even more money at our state's bloated education system and every increasing deficit," said Helen from Hamden. "State vouchers, enabling students to choose privates schools is a viable solution to a better education."
"All these cameras in New Haven, I think it's a bad idea because you're going to get people who don't know whether to go through a caution light, they're going to slam on their brakes and we're going to have a lot of rear end accidents," said Ronnie from East Haven. "They're in there for one reason only to get revenue for the state and especially New Haven."
"A garbage truck goes by and doesn't stop. A police car goes by and a bus goes by and doesn't even stop," said Joan from Waterbury. "I almost got hit by a car, this happens everyday in Waterbury. Is there anything that can be done to protect people in the crosswalk?"
