(WTNH) -- Tonight many of you have a lot to say about women serving in combat roles in the military and you're also sounding off about a 7-year-old who was arrested for allegedly threatening a teacher. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Lisa from Groton said,"In regards to the 7-year-old that got arrested. If a 3 year-old threatens you, what are you gonna arrest a 3 year-old? Just sayin you know? Maybe just discipline him and pretend to arrest him but not really arrest him, he's only 7."
Joe from Wolcott said, "I think that he should have been arrested. We're not allowed to discipline our kids the way we were disciplined when we were younger and that's a bunch of bull."
Tom from New Haven said,"I don't see anything wrong with women being in combat. If they're married at least one parent should not be in combat in case they have children."
Claudina from North Haven said, "I do not think any woman should be in combat. Because their bodies are not as strong as the man, I don't care how strong they are."
Cheryl from Trumbull said, "As I am for equal rights, no I don't feel as though women should be on the combat line."
Pete from Brookfield said, "I have no problem with women serving in combat. I'm just looking forward to the day when we have women in the NFL and Major league baseball and major league sports, that would be something to see."
Marcy from Cheshire said, "I really could care less about the Man Tei Teo issue and the hoax. I think we should just move on."
