(WTNH) -- Tonight you have a lot to say about gun control reform, armed teachers, and some of you are sounding off about women in combat. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Robert from New Haven said, "I'm calling about women in combat. When the time comes and they start a draft again and they come along are they going to be able to pick up 18-year-old girls, and say you guys here you go into infantry, and you guys over here go into artillery?"

Diane from Wallingford said, "Women are as good as men. Sometimes better than men. And we need to get over the fact that we can't have women serving into the military and dying because it's already happening."

Elle from Seymour said, "As a gun owner I'm sick and tired of hearing the jibber jabber about more gun control, more gun control laws, more gun control. We don't need more gun controls here in CT, we have plenty of good laws on the books and good responsible gun owners like myself do everything and we are law abiding, we do our classes, we hide our guns etc."

Tyronda from New Haven said, "It's unbelievable that they want to arm the teachers, that is just absurd and ridiculous. We do not know the mental state of all teachers, if we did we wouldn't have teachers who were running off with children, having relationships and molesting children."

Frank from New Haven said, "Wouldn't it be better if they just had one police officer at every school?"
