(WTNH) -- You're sounding off on a plan to name a new school after one of the hero teachers at Sandy Hook. And many of you are still talking about giving illegal immigrants drivers' licenses. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Bill from West Haven said, "In order to let the illegal immigrants to get a license to drive, and register and insure their vehicles legally like everyone else does, we now have to change the laws to accommodate them. I'm beginning to wonder why anyone would take steps to become a legal citizen when all the illegal immigrants are able to reap the same benefits."
William from Waterbury said, "I think having a drivers license for undocumented aliens is a great idea, with the condition that the license has something on it, that says they're undocumented. They can't use it for ID to get a job or anything else, and it'll let everybody know that they are undocumented."
William from Middletown said, "I'm calling in response to the city of Stratford naming the new elementary school for Victoria Soto, I think that's very fitting and I think that would be a good thing to honor her in such a way. Kudos to the Mayor for wanting to do that."
Patricia from Hartford said, "I think it's in very poor taste to name the elementary school after one of the victims, since there were so many in this particular case. It just isn't sitting well with me."
