(WTNH) -- You're talking about everything from NHL, to restrictions on buying ammo, to proper manners. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Jason from Hamden said, "I think the proposed background check for ammo is totally absurd. I can see if you guys want to use a hunting license or a pistol permit in order to purchase, that would be fine, but to do an instant background check, it's just absurd."

Danny from Old Saybrook said, "Trying to ban ammunition is like seeing the forest through the trees. Ban all guns, ban all ammunition. They're good for nothing."

Dave from Fairfield said, "About these high capacity magazine bans, you want the law-abiding citizens to only have a ten round mag? Well what about the criminals? They can have anything they want. In a life or death situation, law-abiding citizens will be put at a disadvantage."

Bob from North Branford said, "I'd love nothing more than to see an NHL team come back to Connecticut. And yes, I'd definitely support it."

Don from Meriden said, "They go on strike too often, have lockouts, how many people are going to be working when they have lockouts and stuff? They just went for a hundred-and-something days, they're only going to have a 40-something game schedule this year, how many people have lost their part time jobs? Vendors, cooks, ticket-takers and stuff like that?"
