(WTNH) -- News 8 viewers have a lot to say about the movie theater massacre in Colorado. Your thoughts are the focus of tonight's Voice of the People.

Rob from Seymour said, "I think every movie theater around the country, who ever plays that movie should donate a dollar off each ticket sold and send it to the victims of the shooting."

Phil from Bridgeport said, "it's sad that our world is just becoming so violent, everything is being solved by violence. I pray for those people out in Colorado, I pray for the families, I even pray for this young man and his family."

Mrs. Williams from New Haven said, "I'm quite sure his mom knew his status, he probably could have been going to a psychiatrist or something."

Betty from Pawcatuck said, "I think that's so sad, my daughter was up at 4 o'clock watching it with me, and we were both crying. It's very sad. I hope this person just goes to jail and never gets out again."

Felicia from Norwalk said, "what is wrong with people, you can't even go to a late night movie to watch a movie with your family. It's getting bad."
