Callers sound off on teen curfew

(WTNH) -- Callers are sounding off on a teen curfew that has been passed in Bridgeport, in tonight's Voice of the People.

Courtney from New Haven said, "I wanna know why they don't enforce a curfew for the kids in New Haven. This is one of the number one city's for all this crime. New Haven should have a curfew since they're using a lot of these young kids 14, 15 years old to do a lot of these shootings."

Paul from Stratford said, "I kind of think the curfew in Bridgeport is kind of a joke at this point. I've been in traffic after midnight with several dirt bike riders under the age of 15 years old, riding up and down harassing drivers, like you would not believe."

John from Waterbury said, "not only should they have that, but why don't they have something for the drug dealers that hang out on the street and the prostitutes. I think that's more important."

Sharon from Durham said, "it's about time someone had these children's backs. Perhaps when school is in session, soon these children will have more time at home with their books and not roaming the streets. Someone has to represent good parenting skills. This is a no-brainer. Keep the children safe."
