(WTNH) -- A 5-year-old child's close encounter with some sharks is still one of the top talkers, plus some are questioning the motive behind a strike at a nursing home.
"Hi. This is Donna from Naugatuck. I'm calling in regards of the child swimming with sharks. I think that people outta mind their own darn business. Seriously. I'm sure the parents didn't put that child in harms way. Mind your darn, business. Thank you."
"Hi. This is Jack from Bridgeport regarding the parents that had the child swimming with sharks. Perhaps the next challenge will be crossing 95 at rush hour. How absolutely ridiculous to put a child in a pool with sharks."
"Hi. This is Tom from East Haven, concerning the windfall of the $430,000 that East Haven seems to have found. I want to clarify that this money has been, this money has appeared in every audit that the town has had in the last couple years and no one should be surprised about this amount. This is not found money, it has always been there. Thank you."
"Hello, My name is Rob from Milford. I'm just calling for those Healthcare people on strike. I think that is so selfish of them. I know everybody wants to make a little bit more money but that one lady who said we are here for the patients, but what is she doing? They're inside and she's outside protesting. If they really cared, they would be in there, negotiating off the tables and work it and I stopping other people from working. Everybody needs a job today. Everybody hungry for work. The reason why they should not be in there."
