(WTNH) -- In tonight's Voice of the People, callers blew up the phones lines about a toddler taunted by his teacher.
Marriane from Milford said, "she's got a hell of a nerve, ya know they ought to take her ought of that place. She shouldn't be around children. What she said to him and the way she was taunting him was terrible."
Louise from Derby said, "let me tell you where did that kid learn that language to talk to an adult like that, from his mother. So what is she so uptight about because the reality came out. What kind of mother she is?"
Melvin from West Haven said, "I am so sollowing this story that it's unbelievable. I am going to do everything in my power to get behind this lady and see to it that this woman is fired. She has no right to even call herself a daycare provider. Only thing she's providing is hate and pain and suffering."
Phiyllis from Bridgeport said, "she doesn't deserve to be a teacher or be with children. I've worked with children for 18 years in day care and she is disgusting. Thank you. Goodbye."
Rich from Wallingford said, "I don't think the teacher did anything wrong. These kids nowadays have no respect for their elders, no respect."
Karen from Bridgeport said, "shame on her for behaving like that and any other parents that have kids in that school ought to be concerned too because the way she was mistreating that child she was probably doing to other kids too."
Linda from Hamden said, "a lot of these people don't realize how misbehaved these children are when they come into day care. This kid could have been causing havoc for weeks and weeks at a time, and the mother doesn't want to do anything about him, it's her child. This teacher's recording what he's saying...telling you he's gonna knock your block off. That goes to show you right there what kind of kid he is."
