(WTNH) -- That proposed soda ban in New York has many of you sounding-off. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Kate from West Haven said, "I just want to report it in on the soda ban down in New York. I just think it's very inappropriate because now the country is trying to say that we can no longer drink or eat what we choose but we can have liquor stores open 7 days a week? I believe we have a right to drink whatever we want to."
Jim from Branford said, "It appears to me that the obvious solution would be to add more diet beverages. For example, most cases most restaurants if you don't like cola you're forced to drink a sugar beverage out of 6 or 8 selections, there's usually only one."
Bob from Shelton said, "It just seems that everyday that I watch the news it seems like they want to take something away from the people soda, sugar."
Joan from Bloomfield said, "I'm glad I'm no longer a New Yorker with a freak like Bloomberg trying to cut out people's soda. He outta do something about fixing the potholes so his girlfriend don't break her ankle again."
