Voice of the People: March 14, 2013

(WTNH) --  Tonight many of you have a lot to say about the papacy and women. You are also weighing in on the Boy Scouts gay ban. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Bob from Milford said, "What a disaster this would be for the Boy Scouts of America. You're opening the door for every pedophile in the world to go sign up to be a scout leader. This would absolutely be the end of the Boy Scouts if they lift this ban."

Joyce from Hamden said, "This is in regards to females becoming priests. I'm a Catholic and I don't see why females can't become priests. I don't see a problem with it. But I know I'll have my opponents, have a good day."

Anonymous from Bridgeport said, "There are certain things women should not be allowed to do, being priests and the papacy. The papacy and the priests are for men only."

Jim from West Haven said, "I congratulate the new Pope Francis the First and I wish him well. And please for those in the media, try to support the Pope instead of trying to dig dirt up on him, he seems to be a nice holy man. Thank you."
