(WTNH) -- Tonight many of you are weighing in on a plan to tax home heating oil. You also have a lot to say about a proposed bill that would legalize doctor assisted suicide.

Anonymous from Woodbury said, "I live in a nursing home. Have one of your people come to one of these places and see one person after another in agony. Sitting there day after day. So, if people want to commit suicide, let them do it."

Sharon from Watertown said, "You don't know the hell somebody's going through and if they are that sick and they decide to end their life. Let them make their own decision."

Glenn from Guilford said, "I'm calling about the oil tax. I think it is ridiculous when they say it is not really a tax. When it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's a duck."

Abe from Trumbull said, "I think the heating oil tax is an attempt to put independent oil companies out of business, put a bigger tax burden on the consumer and make living in Connecticut more expensive and more unpleasant than it already is."

Luanne from Hartford said, "It's just another ridiculous tax on the lower middle class. They're trying to run people out of the state."
