(WTNH) -- Tonight many of you have a lot to say about a proposal to legalize doctor assisted suicide. And you are still weighing-in on a plan to tax home heating oil. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Elaine from North Haven said, "I am very much opposed to this law that would allow people to take their own life. It's just wrong, it's going to get out of control."

Margaret from Guilford said, "I certainly hope it does pass. I've watched a relative die of cancer and there was no reason to prolong that. She was not going to come around. She was suffering and people with cancer in particular, do suffer."

Ronald from Seymour said, "I believe you should have that right. If you wanna die you should have that right. You should have the right to do whatever you choose."

Pat from Danbury said, "Regarding all the baseball teams. I'd like to say thank you, it is wonderful that you are honoring all of these poor people that were killed in Newtown. It's just unfortunate that Washington can't get together and honor all of the people who have been shot and killed in our country."

Joe from Hartford said, "I'm calling in regards to the proposed tax on heating oil. I just wanna say it's outrageous that our state representatives and state government outta be ashamed, this is outrageous, we can't afford any more taxes. It's just outrageous."
