(WTNH) -- Tonight you're sounding off about everything from shoreline weather damage to gun buyback programs. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Evelyn from Shelton said, "I really don't see any point in this gun buyback. All we're doing is disarming honest, outstanding citizens and leaving criminals with all the guns. We will then be at the mercy of criminals, this is ridiculous, it's asinine."

Natalie from Uncasville said, "This concerns the 8-year-old who attacked a vice principal at school. Some new age parents do not control their children anymore. They want them to show their individuality and at this point that have uncontrollable children. Three adults to control a child from punching and hitting the vice principal over a candy wrapper, shame on the parents letting them grow up with little or no discipline or control."

Anonymous from Naugatuck said, "I'm getting tired of hearing these people along the shore complain about their houses being wrecked. They knew when they built or bought down there and there was a terrible storm they would get wiped out. They had their choices."

Bill from Guilford said, "I'm excited to hear that you can bring a pocket knife on an airplane. How ridiculous can you get? Why don't they let us bring deodorant, shampoo, face cream, shaving cream. I'll tell ya. This government is going to the birds. Goodbye."
