(WTNH) -- Tonight you're sounding-off on everything from cheerleading to a plan to move sick inmates to a nursing home. Here's tonight's "Voice of the People."

Ann from Wolcott said, "I'm calling about the hospital being brought into Rocky Hill. The residents of Rocky Hill never had a chance of stopping that hospital from moving in. When the state of Connecticut wants to do something, no amount of petitions or marches will stop it."

Lynn from Portland said, "Regarding the nursing home for inmates. The Governor is trying to save us taxpayers money. And now when he tries to do that people are out here complaining."

Benjamin from Ansonia said, "There's several states that don't pay the car tax like New Hampshire, New York, Delaware. Can't this administration in Hartford learn by their example? How do they do it? I'd love to find out."

Ron from Wallingford said, "This is in regard to the buyback programs of guns. I see where it's done all over, but I never see what happens to the guns. And I can't honestly believe that they're taking some pretty expensive weapons, antique weapons and destroying them. I would like to see on a national basis, just what they are doing with these guns."

Nancy from Stonington said, "Cheerleading is just as much a sport as anything else. In fact they begin practicing in July. Do football? Do basketball? And their competition season runs through March."
