(WTNH) -- People are still fired up about UI potentially raising rates to cover storm costs and are also talking about what to do with distracted drivers. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Donna from Wethersfield said, "It's their business, they need to cover their own expenses like anyone else does with their business when they've had a loss."

Mike from Gales Ferry said, "People who don't think the utilities should pay for the repairs are out of their minds. They say the utilities should have saved up for it? Well that means they would overcharge people before the storm."

Tony from Stratford said, "I did not lose power during Hurricane Sandy, so why should I have to pay for everyone else that lost power?"

Liz from Milford said, "Our legislature better stand up for us when they request rate hikes, because we just put them back in office."

Donna from Groton said, "On the Victoria's Secret model wearing a headdress, I did not take offense to it. I am of Cherokee descent. People need to stop thinking everything's about racism or bias or whatever, what's next, are they going to take all the Indian costumes from Halloween stores? It's just a costume. Victoria's Secret models wear costumes."

Jim from Uncasville said, "My idea is this -- Take the phones away in addition to the fine that they're gonna get with their ticket."
