(WTNH) -- Walmart employees are planning a walkout on Friday and that has a lot of people sounding off in tonight's Voice of the People.

"Being a former Walmart employee, I agree with these people wanting to go on strike," said Mike from Oakville. "Walmart doesn't wanna pay you anything when they continue to make billions and billions of dollars."

"I'm probably one of the few people that have never set foot inside of a Walmart, and I never will," said Peggy from North Haven. "They abuse their employees, and they've made their money on the backs of the poor and the unfortunate. Everybody should boycott Walmart."

"I understand that they don't want to have to give up their time with their family, but there are a lot of people that would kill to have the jobs that they have," said Muffy from Preston.

"They should just all be happy that they have a job and I would gladly work for Walmart on the days that those people don't wanna work," said Cheryl from Ansonia.

"I work for Walmart in Naugatuck, and I do not plan on walking out on Friday," said Marcia. "I need the job."
