(WTNH) -- Folks are sounding off on gun violence in Connecticut and doctors trying a new tactic to fight teen pregnancy in tonight's Voice of the People.

Janice from New Haven said, "the Attorney General's coming here today to talk about gun violence? Will he be able to talk to those two guys that just stole all those guns from Smith & Wesson? Because I'm sure it'll be a lot more shootings now."

Gary from New Haven said, "I think it would be dreadful if the cities and towns took over the electric companies. I know it works well in Wallingford, but most of these cities and towns are so corrupt to put them in charge of this, it just opens the door for so much more corruption."

Anonymous from West Haven said, "I think it's a good idea that CL&P is doing the thing with the generators with the companies. And I'm wondering why UI has not thought about that suggestion. Maybe somebody can suggest that on TV also."

Lina from Waterbury said, "I think it's pretty pathetic that doctors have to talk about, talk to teenagers about Plan B. I mean, teenagers in the first place should not be having sex at all, and it's pretty sad that parents go and let their kids, you know, have sex with unprotected things. It's disgusting."
