(WTNH) -- Calls have been pouring in about the investigation into boxes full of unprocessed documents found at a Hartford DSS office. They're also talking about how to balance the state budget and a plan to fight gun violence. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Denise from New Haven said, "I think it's a real shame about these boxes of unprocessed applications found at the DSS office in Hartford and really very disturbing voter registration forms were in there too? I mean, these families are obviously going through hard times and it's terrible that they're being disrespected this way."
Pam from West Haven said, "people depend on that, some people depend on it, so those workers, those five workers, should never return. They should get rid of them. Fire them, and rehire."
Jack from Vernon said, "the taxpayers are paying taxes and they're gonna cut our services. There's only one place to cut, but nobody's gonna do it because they're afraid to face the unions. Get rid of the the big abundance, the overgluttoned amount of state employees. We don't need 'em."
George from Greenwich said, "is this not the same Eric Holder that came up with Fast and Furious that gave illegal guns to the Mexicans so they can shoot our border patrol agents? Um, not good."
Sandra from Middlebury said, "in relation to the gang groups in New Haven, Hartford and Bridgeport, they will kill, they don't have a conscience. They're hateful, and they need to be brought to justice without fear. We have to be aggressive and go after these people."
