(WTNH) -- Folks are sounding off on everything from Chris Shays' ongoing verbal battle with Linda McMahon to Halloween in tonight's Voice of the People.

Helen from Hamden said, "Chris Shays accusing Linda McMahon of quote ruining Connecticut's Republican Party unquote, is just sour grapes due to Shays having lost the primary to her. The main reason Linda lost is due to Connecticut's chronic voting Democratic whenever possible, overriding the merits of Republican candidates."

Dilbert from Hamden said, "Every video you have of Governor Malloy he has the Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, she's always standing in back of him. Doesn't she have a job? What's she doing? She doesn't do anything, she doesn't speak, she just stands there. She's on site during the Sandy hurricane with Governor Malloy, she's at the Capitol with Governor Malloy, she just stands there."

Ray Michelle from New Haven said, "Hello, my name is Ray Michelle, and I'm from New Haven and I have one question, when is Halloween since you first canceled it? Bye, that's it."
