(WTNH) -- Folks have a lot to say about the issue of a teen curfew in Meriden. And there are even some of you welcoming a new baggage fee for one airline in tonight's Voice of the People.

Anonymous said, "he was a good kid, and you can't say it was self-defense when the young man was stabbed in the back. He wasn't facing the gentleman that stabbed him."

Lorraine from Meriden said, "if the curfew can be enforced for one, it needs to be enforced for all, not just who they want to pick at. Inner city, outer city, wherever. If they're out of the house, parents need to be fined."

Chuck from Waterbury said, "assault rifles are made for members of the military and members of police SWAT teams, not for the average Joe homeowner. Look at what happens when the wrong person gets hold of one of those. How about that theater out west. No average person should have the need for one of those killing weapons. They should all be banned and destroyed."

Doreen from Hamden said, "the Spirit airlines charges that they are going to start charging people for bringing on bags that are too big, good. Good for them because I have been on planes recently where people are trying to bring full size luggage on so they don't have to pay to check it when they are boarding and they hold up the whole plane, and they end up gate checking them, and they don't have to pay, and that is so unfair to other people."
