(WTNH) -- A lot of people are weighing in on how News 8 handled the coverage of Hurricane Sandy. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Scott from Waterbury said, "I feel sorry for those people that are stuck in their homes on the shoreline, but the Governor did tell these people to evacuate. I also feel these people should be charged a service fee after defying the Governor's orders."
Anonymous said, "You leave those poor people sitting there, trying to make inane conversation, trying to do their best. We're furious at you. We're also disappointed about not seeing Dancing With The Stars. I mean, I know there's tragedy, but you people had better get that program on this week so we can see Mondays and Tuesdays. This storm coverage has gotten ridiculous."
Leona from New Haven said, "I'm calling to say thank you for all the precise and wonderful news that you bring about what's going on, how you can take care of things, what's the damage that's being done, the devastation. Everything that you do shows me or tells me that your news team is more than ready to take and step up and help people."
Helen from Hamden said, "I praise WTNH and its entire staff, especially the wonderful weather people for doing an outstanding job during this really, very serious hurricane. You were just there 24/7 for your viewers although I know most of you were up 24/7, didn't really have much sleep. I want to thank you personally and I'm sure other people will agree."
