(WTNH) -- Folks are sounding off about a police report after two teens were stabbed in Meriden. And, we're also getting lots of calls as the race to the White House is heating up.

Anonymous from New Haven said, "I don't think it's up to the police department to determine who's at fault. The man should be arrested and gone to trial and see what's going on. Police can't be judge and jury in this."

Cindy from Trumbull said, "I hate to be the bearer of another reality check, but it is not up to the taxpayers to provide television programming. No one in government is going to get rid of big bird or elmo. There is an entire industry built around television. I love sesame street, so does my son, my brothers and sisters, but it is not up to the government or the taxpayers to pay for television programming. They should do it just like everyone else does; get the ratings, get the advertisers."

Gloria from Ansonia said, "there are a lot of people that do not collect unemployment benefits any longer and they're still out of work without a job. So someone please tell our wonderful President how he created these jobs recently now that he wants a re-election."

Anonymous from Manchester said, "the politicians disrespecting each other, bullying each other, being so negative and we don't know what they're standing for. All they're doing is scaring the senior citizens and we're not sure who's going to tell the truth and who's not. It's so disappointing."
