(WTNH) -- Many of you have a lot to say about rising gas prices. You're also sounding off about a deadly pit bull attack that happened this morning in New Haven. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Mary from East Lyme said, "We have an obligation and responsibility, to take care of our dogs and should be responsible so that they don't bother anybody else, and that means not being loose, thank you."

Dave from Seymour said, "I think pit bulls should be outlawed, the breed should be stopped because they are not trustworthy."

Paul from Meriden said, "I'm calling about the price of gas. Yeah I think it's ridiculous. I believe it's price gouging. And if Blumenthal were still around he would have done something about it. But it seems he got what he wanted, so I'm not hearing anything from him anymore."

Linda from Milford said, "Yeah they're way too high in Connecticut and they're way too high across the nation. But we need more pipelines and oil refineries. I hope if Romney gets elected he does what he promises and puts in that pipeline to get millions of people to work."

Paul from Rockville said, "I think that the reason the economy is the way it is, gas prices do have a lot to do with it. Is because, I think the politicians aren't running this country, it's big business. And it's nothing but greed that's driving the economy down the tubes. And we're selling this country to third world countries. And we're subsidizing our gas countries that are making 40 billion dollars a year. Why? It doesn't make sense. We should be taking care of our own backyard first and that's it."
