(WTNH) -- From statements made by Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney, to one local town thinking about banning cigarettes, here's tonight's Voice of the People.

"The message on Romney to 47% he's exactly right. And if the Democrats want to give everything away to everybody then they're gonna win all the elections," said Larry in Shelton.

"I'm referring to the comments Romney made about the middle class," said Marilyn in Hamden. "It's pathetic because you know he was born with as silver spoon. It's that old saying, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer."

"Where does it all end you know? Ban it here ban it there. And you know we won't be able to buy cigarettes anywhere," said Jeff in New Haven. "It's just ridiculous."

"I think it's a wonderful idea about the banning of cigarettes," said Lisa in New Haven. "They should ban it in all the state of Connecticut."

"I'd like to know what she was doing topless to begin with. I have a lot of respect for her. I lost it. Why would you go topless in the public eye. She deserved it," said Chris in Waterbury.
