(WTNH) -- Lots of viewers have something to say about the state's early prison release program and we even got a little commentary on Lindsay Lohan's latest troubles, too.

"I think it's absolutely ridiculous they let these violent people go because they claim that have good time," said Patty in East Haven. "They are such a threat to society. I think it's insane that these stupid people are letting them out. What is wrong with this state?"

"Early release program for violent offenders, jailed for rape, sexual offenses against children, and other serious crimes... to reward them for quote good behavior is a serious potential threat to our law-abiding citizens," said Helen in Hamden.

"What I don't understand is why is Mike Lawlor is always in the forefront of stuff that nobody wants. The early release program, now you have two perpetrators released by Mike Lawlor's wonderful idea of getting them back into the community, and two men are dead because of it," said Frank in New Haven.

"Lindsay Lohan should be in jail for all the things she has done and got away with," said Joyce in Milford. "I can't believe that Lifetime has picked her to portray Elizabeth Taylor's life. Elizabeth was always kind and gave a lot to charity. Why does Hollywood keep rewarding Lindsay Lohan?"
