(WTNH) -- Our story about a family's water problem has led to calls from other viewers, about similar problems. Plus we're getting calls about stories we've done on gun laws and voting laws, in tonight's Voice of the People.

Mary from New Haven said, "the sewer that is in front of my house, the city doesn't know who put it there. The water company doesn't know. My basement is constantly flooding over every time it rains."

Anonymous said, "that's actually a law in the state of Connecticut, it's a grey area, but I know some people who are into gun permits, and you can carry a gun on your side, there is a law on that."

Bob from Stratford said, "in the state of Connecticut, this is an open carry state, not a concealed carry state. You can legally carry your firearms out in the open in this state."

Nancy from Stratford said, "you have to show them your ID card to prove who you are. So I see no problem with requiring ID's to vote."

Anonymous said, "I believe anyone who votes should have identification, maybe people can go to the bank, say they're someone else and draw someone's money out?"
