(WTNH) -- Callers are sounding off about parking problems and increased police patrols during holidays in tonight's Voice of the People.

Anonymous from New Haven said, "if you can't have enough spaces, build a garage. Oh, or make them build a garage. But if you don't bring other, and if there's no place to put 'em."

Mary from Milford said, "you know the State Police they're doing the job right. They're out there, protecting people so they don't kill themselves or somebody else because the drivers go crazy on the holidays. They're like maniacs on the road and I think the State Police are doing a good job."

Anonymous from Cornwall said, "yeah, I'm calling about the police check points. I really get tired all the time of people complaining about the officers, if they've got a problem with check points or anything in that nature, but they should complain of the actual problem with that. The officers only do exactly what they're told to do the same as every other employee, the state, so if they've got a problem..."
