Callers weigh in on police brutality lawsuit

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- On Thursday night, we asked our viewers to weigh in on a video of a police arrest. A mother says a cop went too far during her son's arrest and she's filing a lawsuit.

"From what I could see he did everything correctly on that," said Bob in Stratford. "There's no police brutality there."

"There's no need to use that type of force on a young person," said Joan in West Haven.

"This kind of brutality has been going on for ages and it needs to be stopped," Linda in Deep River agreed.

"Give me a break. That's not police brutality," countered Joseph in Bridgeport. "The officer's doing his job."
