(WTNH) -- Since Blizzard 2013 swept the state, several cities and towns have opened up warming centers.
The following is a list of the centers currently open. ( The list will be updated as additional warming centers open.)
EAST LYME -- Red Cross has opened up a shelter at East Lyme Middle School, located at 37 Society Rd.
NEW LONDON -- The New London Senior Center has been opened as a warming center. It will be open until 9:00 p.m. tonight and is located at 120 Broad St.
SHELTON -- Shelton has opened a shelter at Stonington High School. If you do not have power and do not have family or other alternatives for a place to stay, and you need shelter, you may go to Stonington High to the shelter, or call 860-535-5050 with questions or request for assistance.
STONINGTON -- Red Cross has opened up a shelter at Stonington High School, located at 176 S. Broad St. Pawcatuk.
WATERTOWN -- The Town of Watertown has opened a Warming Shelter at the Falls Avenue Senior Center, 311 Falls Avenue in Oakville, for residents currently experiencing power outages.
