Bridgeport, Conn. (WTNH) - Despite the rain that is falling Wednesday afternoon, Governor Jodi Rell is asking everyone in Connecticut cut down on non-essential water use, and the Aquarion Water Company asking its almost 600,000 customers to cut back too.
Aquarion, which serves 39 Connecticut cities and towns, has issued a list of voluntary watering restriction. Among them:
These are voluntary restrictions, but both Aquarion and the governor warn that even though we're not in a drought emergency yet, we could be soon unless we all start conserving water.
