Farmington (WTNH) - For many eager iPhone fans the anticipation ends today. Many folks lined up early this morning to be one of the first to get the new iPhone 3G S when it goes on sale today.
The iPhone 3G S is faster, has more memory and enough bells and whistles to wet the appetite of any techie.
"It's faster so I can type faster," said Stan Kamensky of Bloomfield.
Kamensky spent the night outside the West Farms Mall to get his new iPhone at the Apple store.
He was joined by about 45 other people, including Jay Fisher of Enfield.
"A lot more memory. I'm running out on my 16 gig," Fisher said.
Deb Pastore of Lakeville drove an hour and a half to switch her service. The $200-$300 price tag was hard to swallow, but she says the technology will help with her job.
"It was a hard decision. It's almost equal to what I had before," she said.
You can also buy the new iPhone through AT&T.
