NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- A 14-year-old boy was shot in New Haven on Sunday evening.

Police say the boy was shot around 6:15 PM, while standing at a bus stop at the corner of Winchester Avenue and Lilac Street.

The boy told police he was with a few others when he heard the gunshot. He then felt a stinging in his shoulder where he had been shot.

He was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

There are currently no suspects but witnesses told police they saw a gang of teens on bikes in the area around the same time of the incident.
