BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two men were arrested for allegedly robbing a Bristol restaurant Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m., at Two Brothers Restaurant, located at 962 Pine St.

According to police, it was reported that two men wearing masks and displaying handguns held up the pizza restaurant as the workers were preparing to close.

As the men fled the scene, a witness observed the fleeing vehicle and was able to write down their marker plate number.

With that information, police were able to track down the suspects to a location on East View St.

After a short investigation, Cliffton Richardson and Lewonda Jones were taken into custody.

Thirty-year-old Richardson and 39-year-old Jones were both charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree larceny.

Bond was set at $150,000 for both.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
