HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Hartford police are were busy Saturday morning investigating two separate shootings.
Around 1 a.m. officers were called to Bedford Street where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The man, who was not identified, was transported to the hospital.
About 20 minutes later, officers were called to Enfield Street to investigate reports of shots fired. The victim was taken to the hospital before officers arrived, but on the scene, police were able to find shell casings.
The victim, an unidentified man, was shot in the chest and hand. His injuries are considered to be not life threatening.
Police say the two shootings are not related.
