2 shot with 1 bullet at West Haven lounge

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after being shot by the same bullet at a lounge in West Haven Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m., at JP's Ultra Lounge, located at 209 Boston Post Rd.
Police said a man was shot once in his stomach, and the bullet then apparently traveled through his body, striking a woman in the stomach as well.
The man was taken to a local hospital for surgery and is listed in critical condition.
The woman was treated and released for her injuries.
