20 arrested in narcotics sweep

MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) -- 20 people were arrested on drug charges after police executed a narcotics sweep.

Members of the East Central Narcotics carried out several narcotic arrest warrants on drug dealers.

Police executed 3 search warrants, made 20 arrests, seized 4 cars, 56 Oxycontin pills and $818 in cash.

Arrested in the sweep were:

Michael McIntire, 20, of 1752 Chalker Hill, Glastonbury was arrested on two warrants for sale of marijuana. Bond was set at $50,000 for each warrant.

Charles Anderson, 51, of 11 Carpenter Lane, Bloomfield was charged with conspiracy to possess and narcotics. Bond was set at $100,000. Police seized 34 Oxycontin pills and $239 from Anderson's 2012 Nissan Titan.

Ryan Freedman, 18, of 478 Stanley Dr., Glastonbury, Matthew Lacombe, 19, of 26 Blueberry Lane, East Hartford and Javon Knight, 20, of 200 Nutmeg Lane Apt. 119, East Hartford were each charged with possession of marijuana, conspiracy to possess and sell marijuana. Bond was set at $10,000 for each.

Michael Durdek, 21, of 50 Church St. Apt 1A, East Hartford was charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana. Bond was set at $10,000.

Colby Codraro, 18, of 30 Elm St., Rocky Hill and Timothy McGuire, 34, of 290 Foote Rd., Glastonbury were each charged for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000 for each.

Jefferey Safo-Darko, 22, of 100 West St. Apt 408, Vernon was arrested on two warrants for possession and sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $125,000. Police searched Safo-Darko's 2003 Nissan Maxima.

Eartha Hester, 36, of 233 Ellington Rd. Apt 306, East Hartford was charged with conspiracy to possess and sell narcotics. Bond was set at $125,000. Officials searched and seized $579 from Hester's 2002 Mitsubishi Galant.

Anthony Brown, 40, of 360 Oakland St., Manchester was arrested on 2 warrants for possession and sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $200,000 for each warrant.

Alison Dunn, 40, of 965 Hopewell Rd., Glastonbury was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set for $10,000.

Adam Garabedian, 23, of 482 Broad St., Bristol was charged with possession and sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $10,000.

A juvenile was arrested on 2 arrest warrants for sale and possession of marijuana.

Officials executed a take down operation on a Oxycontin dealer named Ernest Dailey. Police seized 22 Oxycontin pills and a 2006 Cadillac. The individuals below were arrested as a result:

Ernest Dailey, 53, of 357 Albany Ave., Hartford was charged for possession and sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $50,000. There was an additional arrest warrant for Dailey for sale and possession of narcotics. Bond was set for $100,000.

Gene Walker, 69, of 164 Kensington St., Hartford was charged with possession and sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $50,000.

Karen Chipchase, 40, of 174 Center St., Manchester was charged with possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, drugs 1500' of school and paraphernalia 1500' of school, operating a drug factory and risk of injury. Bond was set at $150,000.

Ronald White, 30, of 88 Oak St., Manchester was arrested on 3 warrants for possession of cocaine and sale of cocaine. Bond was set at $10,000.

Elizabeth Louden, 51, of 68 Oak St., Manchester was arrested on 2 warrants for sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $2,500.
