Police investigate 27th New Haven murder

New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - New Haven police are investigating the city's 27th homicide this year.

Edward Andrew Thompson, 37, was killed in the city's Fair Haven neighborhood this morning.

It happened on Grand Avenue, near the corner of Lloyd Street, around 12:30am.

The shooting is under investigation.

No other information is known at this time.
