HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 29-year-old Hamden man was shot multiple times on Wednesday night.
Around 8:30 p.m. Police responded to the report of an altercation near the intersection of Dixwell Avenue and First Street.
Upon arrival, police found the victim, Robery Pouncey, of Dixwell Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police reported.
Pouncey was treated by the Hamden Fire Dept. and was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The wounds do not appear life-threatening at this time, police said.
The motive is unknown and police are investigating.
A possible suspect is a black male, 15-18 years old with curly hair, and riding a bicycle.
