GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH) -- It took Granby police only a couple hours to identify a suspect accused of stealing more than $2,000 of flooring tiles.
On July 7, 24 boxes of flooring tiles valued at more than $2,000 were stolen from a business on Route 10/Salmon Brook Street in Granby. Police say the business was undergoing a renovation.
An off-duty police officer from a nearby town saw the surveillance photos and recognized the suspect from a previous arrest.
Surveillance images clearly showed the suspect and a grey Ford Ranger pickup.
Police say the stolen tiles were recovered and the man will be charged by warrant in the near future.
