DARIEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- Three men from New York were arrested on fraudulent and stolen credit card charges in Darien, on Saturday.
Police say one of the suspects attempted to make a purchase with a fraudulent credit card at the CVS Pharmacy, at 984 Post Road around 2 PM, before fleeing the area in a red Nissan Altima.
Officers responded to the incident and further investigation showed that all three occupants in the vehicle were in possession of numerous stolen or fraudulent credit cards and a large amount of cash.
Michael D. Harris, 24, was charged with possession of illegal/fraudulent credit card, unlawful use of a credit card, conspiracy to commit larceny and attempt to commit larceny.
Dave O. Obaseki, 22, was charged with possession of illegal/fraudulent credit card, conspiracy to unlawful use of a credit card, and conspiracy to larceny.
Shaquell D. Caldwell, 22, was charged with conspiracy to unlawful use of a credit card, and conspiracy to larceny.
All three posted their $25,000 bonds and scheduled to appear in court on March 26th.
