TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 33-year-old Torrington man has been arrested for multiple drug charges.
Randy Brumell of 6 Victoria St. was arrested after Torrington Police executed a search and seizure warrants at his home and his business of Brumell's Cycle and Fitness Center at 911 East Main St.
Police say the search warrants were executed as a result of an unrelated police investigation.
Police subsequently found marijuana, packaged marijuana, weighing scales and assorted drug paraphernalia at his home and business.
A 1998 Chevy Astro Van that is connected to Brumell's business was also seized and was unrelated to the drug investigation.
Brumell was charged with poss. of marijuana under 4 oz., poss. of marijuana with intent to sell, poss. of drug paraphernalia and poss. within 1500 feet of a day care center.
$1,000 in cash was also seized.
Brumell posted a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Bantam Superior Court on March 25.
