CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Clinton police arrested 4 males on several drug charges after an eight month investigation.
Police concluded the investigation with the execution of 14 arrest warrants for seven people.
The investigation stemmed from complaints of people using and selling drugs at the Skate Park and other locations in Clinton.
During the investigation police also developed information on unrelated crimes and were issued arrest warrants.
21-year-old David Nazario of Glenwood Rd., Clinton and 19-year-old Brett Tucker of Allendale Rd., Old Saybrook were arrested along with two juveniles.
Nazario was charged with possession of a sawed off shotgun, third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, sale of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
Nazario was held on total of $100,000 in bonds and a court date was set for March 21 at Middletown Superior Court.
Tucker was charged with four counts of sale of marijuana, three counts of possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school and three counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Tucker was taken into custody with the assistance of ECSU Police in Willimantic and was transported to Clinton Police Department when he is being held on bond. He is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on March 21.
A 17-year-old juvenile from Westbook was charged with two counts of sale of narcotics, two counts of sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and conspiracy to sell narcotics. He was arrested in Westbrook with the assistance of state police.
A 15-year-old male from Clinton was charged with two counts of conspiracy to sell marijuana.
Police have other warrants for suspects and more arrests are expected.
