PLAINVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) -- Five men were arrested in connection with a 3-month drug investigation into the trafficking of prescription pain medications, cocaine, and marijuana.
On Friday, police executed search and seizure warrants at homes located at 15 Atwood St. and 4 Colton Ave., in Plainville.
Police said during the raid, three individuals were arrested for crimes related to a brutal assault that occurred on July 17th, at the Firehouse Cafe, located at 54 West Main St.
During the assault, five individuals beat and kicked a man in the parking lot. They also assaulted two young women who were trying to aid the injured man. The male victim was taken to Mid-State Medical Hospital and later transferred to Hartford Hospital for multiple fractures to his face.
The two female victims received minor injuries.
Two of the attackers remain unidentified.
In total, five men were arrested during the raid.
Stephen J. Ellis, 26, of 15 Atwood St., Plainville, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree conspiracy to commit assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, and second-degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $350.000.
Ryan M. Ellis, 23, of 4 Colton Ave., Plainville, was charged with interfering with an officer and third-degree criminal mischief. Bond was set at $5,000.
Malcolm Mack, 23, of 191 Queen St. #B11, Southington, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree conspiracy to commit assault and first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $250,000.
Marcus Gibson, 21, of 112 Wynola Ave., New Britain, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree conspiracy to commit assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, and second-degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $350,000.
Patrick Pileski, 22, of 15 Atwood St., Plainville, was charged with illegal sales of controlled substance, illegal possession of less than 4 oz. marijuana, and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $25,000.
Pileski was arrested on a warrant stemming from a March 18th police raid at his residence.
