NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- North Branford Police arrested 7 youths over the weekend for underage drinking.
Police were sent to 60 Indian Hill Road on Saturday night regarding a large number of kids in the area.
Police said they observed several people running into the home and into the woods adjacent to the home upon their arrival.
The homeowners were out of state and the home should not have been occupied, police said.
Officers were met at the door by a 16-year-old female who appeared intoxicated.
One male was found unconscious and was transported by ambulance to the hospital to be treated for alcohol poisoning.
7 youths were arrested and charged for possession of alcohol by a minor. 5 of them were found inside the home and turned over to the custody of their parents and the last two arrestees were found hiding in the woods behind the home.
