NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police have released the 911 tape after a triple shooting left two dead in North Branford.
The shootings happened on Saturday, June 9 in a home on Brook Lane in North Branford.
In the call, the wife of Richard Fletcher calls police for help after discovering her husband and daughter, 39-year-old Meredith Negron, had been shot by her son-in-law, 41-year-old Exsell Negron.
The caller tells the 911 operator that her son-in-law was in another bedroom, and the call ends with her putting the phone down to save a baby in the house. After the shooting, neighbors told News 8 the Negron's had a 2-year-old child.
Police say after shooting his wife and father-in-law Negron killed himself.
Fletcher was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
